What happens after the validity period of the certification?

The Global Grant Community usually sends a notification to a certified organization 6 months before the certification expires, reminding them to plan for renewing their GFGP Certification. After the GFGP Certification has expired, the organization engages with a licensed Certification Body in order to re-apply for GFGP Certification. It is expected that the amount of audit exercise for re-certification will be less than that of the initial certification.
